Art Post -- Worksafe -- The Spinner's End.

Title: The Spinner's End
By: Cluegirl
Rating: PG-13
No Pairing, Spoilers for Deathly Hallows.
Disclaimer: JKR doesn't pay me for the advertising my art and fiction provide her franchise, and neither does anybody else.
Medium: Pen and ink on sketchbook paper. Yes, the original is available. Contact me privately if you're interested.
Artist's Notes: This technically is an illustration of my story We Shine Like Stars "Severus Snape lay like a great, dark stain at the bottom of the stairs. Only his face and the hand beside it shone white against the welter of sprawling robes, fanning black hair, and -- Ginny caught a scent, hanging raw, thick and horrible in the still air, and she grimaced as she realized the surface on which Snape lay was probably not some oddly shaped, shiny sort of carpet." Of course, for the multitudes who did not read that story, this sketch serves to illustrate the main canon text anyhow, if a little offscreen and to the left.
Feedback: Yes please!
Archiving: You may download this for your collection without asking, however, you may NOT upload it anywhere else without talking to me first. If you'd like to icon or background this (though why, I couldn't imagine,) just ask me first please. I'll probably say yes, but we has rules around here...

Wizards didn't die like that. Not as though something huge and merciless had crushed him uncaring - had hardly noticed as it sped on its way. )

Fic Post -- Atropos Alley

Title: Atropos Alley
By [info]cluegirl
Rating: gen, this part. Later, who knows?
Pairing: Snarry
Wordcount: 1300
Disclaimer: No profit, no claim to ownership, no harm done.
Story Notes: You're getting this as it appears, I'm afraid. All improv, no planning, and the devil take the hindmost. This is part of the Moirae Set. The first of those is Lachesis Lane, followed by Spinner's End. Each of these is meant to be a sort of dovetailed vignette; capable of independent reading, but you'll have a clearer idea of the arc if you go ahead and read them all. Think of them as a long, drawn-out drabble series, really.
Feedback: Yes please!

I've been talking with my Angel, and she says that it's all right. )

Fic post: Lachesis Lane. Worksafe.

Title: Lachesis Lane
By [info]cluegirl
Rating: gen, this part. Later, who knows?
Pairing: Snarry
Wordcount: 1000
Disclaimer: No profit, no claim to ownership, no harm done.
Story Notes: You're getting this as it appears, I'm afraid. All improv, no planning, and the devil take the hindmost. It's the first of several vignettes I mean to write today, so technically it's a WIP, but I'm not going to put 'tbc' on every segment. Because I don't wanna, that's why. This is, as I daid earlier, in honour of [info]ter369's birthday.
Feedback: Yes please!

We Shine Like Stars. (Fic, GW/LL, SS/HP, NC17 -- 7/7)

Title: We Shine Like Stars 7/7
Author: Cluegirl
Type: Fiction
Length: Novella -33,000- words This part, 5000 words.
Main character or Pairing: Ginny/Luna, with a side of Harry/Snape. Personally, I consider this story just as much a Snarry as it is G/L. Hopefully, you'll agree.
Rating: NC17
Canon compliancy: Shooting for Epilogue compliance. Yes, you did read that correctly, and I think I managed it as well, thanks!
Disclaimer: All HP characters are the sole intellectual property of JKRowling, whom I am not. Therefore, I make no profit from this use.
Warnings: Graphic descriptions of childbirth, but aside from that, it's pretty vanilla.
Summary: Harry is not the only one who must struggle for a sense of self against the expectations of others; Ginny's dreams are heavily mortgaged too. It takes a brush with tragedy to alert her to the very real possibility of losing all, if she does not take matters into her own hands.
Cards Drawn: The Empress, the Ace of Swords reversed, and Strength.
Card Interpretation: The Empress -- satisfaction, a competent woman spinning the future from the present.
The Ace of Swords, reversed -- Words, or the threat of them, used to destroy. A silence that is destructive. A refusal, or inability to speak up when words are needed
Strength -- Power, energy, a calm and soothing conviction. Fearlessness.
Author Notes: Thanks to the League of Extraordinary Betae: [info]jenna_thorn, [info]emessann, [info]amanuensis1, and [info]kaiz. And also, my plot doctor, the ever-patient [info]aquila_dominus. I have decided that posting this story one section at a time will probably make it easier on my readers, but please be reassured, this is no WIP. The story is finished, and you'll see all of it, just at the rate of one section every couple of days. If you get impatient, and want to read the whole thing in one go, you can find it at [info]hp_tarot, or at my Skyehawke account. The title of the song, and the verses used at the chapter heads come from the song Bullet, by Covenant.

FIC POST -- Disenchanted. Not Worksafe!

Title: Disenchanted
Author/Artist: Cluegirl
Rating: NC17
Pairing: Snape/Harry
Warnings: Chan -- 16, D/s, mild CBT, and orgasm denial, sorta-kinda-but-not-really bestiality, allusions to child abuse. If you are not of legal age to purchase Hustler where you live, then please do us all a favour and do not click the link. If you are offended by the above, then likewise, do not click. (DUH!)
Summary: Sent to Privet Drive to intercede in a domestic dispute, Severus finds that Harry Potter is not quite feeling himself.
Original request: bondage and d/s ^.^ Bottom!Harry, and child abuse/violence with abused!Harry.
Disclaimer: Harry Potter is the sole intellectual property of one JKRowling. No profit is made nor infringement upon rights intended by me in thus borrowing them. I promise to wash them before I put them back.
Author's Note: Took me awhile to work out how to do a child abuse rescue and a happy sub in one story, and still keep it under novel length, but here's my best run at it. Many thanks to [info]amanuensis1, [info]emessann, and [info]jenna_thorn, my amazing betae team. Also, to the mods of the Daft Day Snarry Smut Swap, for running a fun little fest, and for letting me play in.
Feedback: Is love. Yes please.
