Artist's Notes: In Ireland's Ulster Cycle of myths, you may find the story of Nuada Silver-Arm, High King of the besieged Tuatha DeDanann in their war against Balor of the Evil Eye, and his Formoire army. Just when the black sorcerer's treachery seemed poised to triumph, a fiery young hero, Lugh the Longhanded, appeared on the scene to thoroughly upset everyone's expectations.

I'm posting this link in my journal today, because posting for the Games is done, but voting remains open for another week. There might be one or two on this flist who have not had a look at this, one of the better pieces I've done this year. Voting is open to anyone with an opinion, of course, and since this is a total-points game, I'm not above ballot-stuffing. That said, I do think there's a whole lot of fantastic art, and even better fic on offer for this year's Games, and I'd be remiss if I didn't suggest that you all go and properly peruse the lot. Some classics have dropped in this year's collection, I tell you!
But anyway, this post is just to point anyone who might not have got a look at the pic, over to where it's posted. (That's why the comment feature here is turned off, see?) I'd like your votes and feedback, but really, I'm just showing off as usual.
