[info]ter369's day of fic!

As I mentioned a few days ago, today would have been [info]ter369's birthday, had disease not taken her from our midst.
She was a great inspiration to me, and so I, along with some others, have decided to write fic in her honour today.
This is your fair warning -- this will be a spammy sort of day from here. If that bids fair to annoy you, y'might want to filter me out for the day.
If, on the other hand, that nudges you a bit closer to your happy place, then by all means, feel free to join me in the Fixplosion. And link me to your playtoys too, just so I can be sure not to miss them!

Cheers!
*Goes on down that road.*

Fic post: Lachesis Lane. Worksafe.

Title: Lachesis Lane
By [info]cluegirl
Rating: gen, this part. Later, who knows?
Pairing: Snarry
Wordcount: 1000
Disclaimer: No profit, no claim to ownership, no harm done.
Story Notes: You're getting this as it appears, I'm afraid. All improv, no planning, and the devil take the hindmost. It's the first of several vignettes I mean to write today, so technically it's a WIP, but I'm not going to put 'tbc' on every segment. Because I don't wanna, that's why. This is, as I daid earlier, in honour of [info]ter369's birthday.
Feedback: Yes please!

Everything I ever did right or wrong, hid out of sight, where I belong. )

Catt's Arisia schedule!

Friday night:

Button, then Zip? A History of Fashion
6:00 pm in William Dawes B

This one is going to be a really great panel, and I am hugely looking forward to it. It's the only thing I have going on officially on Friday night, so I'm sure there will be some hooking up and hanging out on that night, at very least. Who wants to meet up for drinks in the bar?

Saturday night:
Reading -- Guardian Angels by Catt Kingsgrave
5:00 pm, BU Suite (Regency Club)

This will be a half hour reading, and if anyone thinks they won't be otherwise occupied, I'd love to have some actual people to whom to read!

Writing Sex Magic
10:00 pm, William Dawes A

I think the header says it all, really. We're going to talk about smut, either directly, or sidelong. What else d'you need?

Sunday

Poetry Reading
10:00 AM, BU Suite (Regency Club)

(I'll be one of several readers, so you'd not have to just listen to my verse, I promise!)

Basic Stage Makeup -- reasons, supplies, techniques
11:00 AM, Room 201

Sexual Politics and Problems at Conventions
12:00 PMm Crispus Attucks

A Diddly Dydly Doo, Why Don't You
4:00 pm, Paul Revere B
(Because I have, apparently, written a song or two in my time. Don't judge me.)

Forming a Musical Group
8:00 pm, Paul Revere A
(Because I have, apparently, formed a musical group or two in my time. It also appears that I'm the only jaded, long-toothed veteran on the panel, as all my fellow panelists are shiny, perky, and still having fun. I'll be your Snape for the hour, let me know if I can insult you in any way...)

Misanthropes: Why We Love Them
9:00 PM, Room 201
(And speaking of Snape...)

Goth Fans: Beyond the Black
10:00 pm, Room 201.
(Have I told you my theory about Goths and the Cold War? Wait! Where are you going? Don't run! Don't run!)

And that's the official list. Unofficially, I'll be all over the place, including at the Steampunk ball, possibly the masquerade, though I'll not be competing this time, the dealer's rooms, the filk rooms, the bar, and whatever parties I can find to crash.

Anyone in the Boston area who'd like to hook up for awhile, let me know, and we'll exchange digits and times.
Cheers!
